The Hahnenkamm Races have a general admission policy with no allocated seating/standing areas. Please note that there are no specific areas or fenced off sections for fan clubs. We thank you for your understanding.

Where to attach our Fan Banners?

There are several suitable areas where banners will be in full view of TV cameras and photographers. These designated areas are located just above the finishing line on the left (viewed from below). To ensure maximum safety for the participating athletes, we request that you refrain from attaching any banners to the safety fencing.
Please ensure that your banners do not impede the vision of other spectators and use long poles accordingly.

    Are banners with logos allowed?

Due to existing promotion contracts and the rights of Hahnenkamm sponsers, it is prohibited to use fan banners for any kind of advertising. All advertising related logos, inscriptions or slogans should be covered or removed. Checks will be made at the entrance areas as well as at the venue.

The event grounds at the finish area is the best spot to watch the Hahnenkamm Races. They are incredibly expansive and give spectators the opportunity to see the final 35 seconds of the race live, as the skiers whizz down from the Hausbergkante. Comprehensive entertainment is provided at the event area, where the spectators are also kept up to date with all the latest information. Seven video walls and scoreboards are also installed.

There is a special meeting place for families / children. It is a quiet zone with catering, benches and tables.

Make sure you wear sturdy winter shoes with a good grip. Please observe the “General Access Regulations”.

Spectators at the start line - on foot

Interesting spectator areas can also be found at the start area and “Mausefalle”. For the ascent with the Hahnenkammbahn cable car, you will need a single ticket (for pedestrians), available from the Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel Lift Co. Note: Sturdy footwear is necessary, alpine terrain! Race admission ticket required.

Spectators on skis alongside the Streif

You can also watch the races alongside the Streif. For example, at the Mausefalleboden, Seidlalm and Oberhausberg sections. Please observe all warning signs and closures. The Steilhang slope must be avoided. You will need a lift ticket from the Bergbahn AG (www.kitzski.at). A “Hahnenkamm Race” admission ticket is also required.

  • Fan Zone in Kitzbühel's town centre & Entertainment !

The Fan Zone in the historic town centre is equipped with every thing…

The Fan Zone in the historic town centre is equipped with every thing spectators could possibly wish for. Catering services as well as the entertainment provided are varied. Kitzbühel authorities have entrusted Rass&Dorner with organising a uniform sound system throughout the entire town centre.

The stalls offer typical Tyrolean fare, including the strange sounding but delicious tasting Tyrolean “Ziachkiachl” and “Broadakrapfn”. A variety of sausages will also be available, including Frankfurter and St. Johanner, specialities such as curried sausage, Bosna, hot dogs, doner kebabs and more. Prices are also very modest. The environment is another key issue, so returnable cups with a deposit system (1 Euro) will be used. All official stalls also accept MasterCard or Maestro Card. A specially highlight is the MasterCard Cashless Area in the city park. In the whole area, it is possible you can pay cashlessly.

The local radio station U1 Tyrol is responsible for the open air stange. Special emphasis is placed on entertainment. Kronehit Radio will guide us through the programme and tune the music genre to the skiers’ mood. Two live acts will perform on stage, before and after the races. There are also a lot of other live acts in addition to the entertainer and DJ Luiggi like as die jungen Zillertaler, Mark Pircher, die jungen Thierseer and the romantic express on stage. Fans will be flanked by twenty P.A. towers as they make their way from town to the event area. There are also five video walls with sound-system in the town centre and a special fan TV team will interview spectators to gauge the mood, while a fan reporter sends an account of events from the scene of all the action.

Extra supervised WC facilities will be installed for spectator’s comfort, with fresh running water and sewer connection.
