MILITARY CORONATION IN KITZBÜHEL - DIGNIFIED CEREMONY IN THE CENTER OF TOWN

After almost 20 years, once again a solemn ceremony of the Austrian Armed Forces took place in Kitzbühel. In the heart of the city center, young recruits of the Jägerbataillon 24 were ceremoniously sworn in in the presence of numerous political celebrities and many onlookers. On this Friday, July 28, 2023, the sun was shining after the morning rain, so that it warmed the heart when the military music played traditional pieces in addition to the speeches. As a highlight, the soldiers, among whom were many competitive athletes - especially from winter sports - said aloud the pledge of allegiance for your service to the homeland. A dignified ceremony in the center of Kitzbühel, which will be remembered for a long time. By the proximity to the barracks St. Johann exists yes also in Kitzbühel a special relation to the Austrian Federal Armed Forces, in particular however by the annual employment on the racing courses with the international Hahnenkamm Races, for over 60 years. The K.S.C. wishes all girls and boys good experiences in the further completion of the basic military service, perhaps one sees oneself again on Streif and Ganslern.
